In this irksome load shedding hours, music video for Raju Lama’s another song ‘Sumnima’ is hitting the television screens. Another interesting fact is the story behind another song. Bashfully he revealed, ‘the music video for the song ‘Yo Junima’ is one of my own personal favourites. May be, it is because that the song was written by myself for my sweet heart.’
We did not that Raju Lama is already in a relationship and has already written a song. Starry-eyed. He further shared, ‘the song is my feelings towards her ever since we started dating, which was 3 years back.’ Having asked about her name he replied, ‘I cannot reveal her name I am not sure if we are tying the nuptials.’
The video for the song ‘Yo Junima’ is shot in Pokhara under the direction of Pratap Singh. He shared, ‘we did not work for more than 10 hours for the production and fortunately, it went good and became one of my favourites.’ Alike, video for the song ‘Yeti Dherai’ is also in post production process and will be out within 2 or 3 months. Describing about the lok-based song ‘Sumnima’ he said, ‘we produced the video in helter-skelter manner in Thankot.’ While these were the exciting part, he also shared his bitter experience while shooting for the song ‘Dil Basyo’. He illustrated saying, ‘we shoot the video in Darjeeling and Sikkim and most of the time, it did not work due to weather challenges. It was like a bad luck. I learned that working for the shooting while going for a concert is a tough job. But I would like to thank Naren Limbu for his uninterrupted effort.’
Raju Lama, who is also appointed as a brand ambassador for Childreach Nepal, a sister organization of Childreach International, is currently based in New York for which he shares, ‘Earlier I used to stay for 2 or 3 months away from home but these days, I am compelled to stay away the whole year. Sometimes, I really miss my family. This is my work and I am willing to do it.’
